About a Month ago I brought Coco cross country schooling at Quarryland Cross Country in Meath. It was such a great schooling day, despite a small mishap towards the end.
While I’ve always loved cross-country, it’s definitely something I’m not rushing to get Coco schooled in. As she’s such a spooky mare, she doesn’t really deal very well in open spaces so big fields with large solid fences aren’t really going to go down too well!
Excuse my french but holy F*#k, the next 15 minutes where the longest 15 minutes of my life, they were horrendous!!! The first 3 fences seem like such a blur now, but they were the only 3 fences
I have this irrational fear of going fast downhill, Dante was quick enough to reassure me I had nothing to worry about, he popped over the tyres and over the hill with no hesitations
