This week or should I say the last two weeks with Dante I have been working on a lot of straightness training. I thought who best to share this exercise with than with you all. It is extremely easy to set up, and once you get it right it is so rewarding!
This week we are focusing more in on our transition work, incorporating a serpentine in canter. This will bring us forward from last weeks exercise working on our flying changes over our “Figure of Death”, lets see how much your horse has learned!
There you have it the “Figure of Death” I would be lying if I said this exercise was easy, it certainly was not!

Well its our final August Monthly exercise and I have to say, I’m kind of sad to see this month end. To finish off, we decided again to ask our followers what they wanted to see and once again jumping won out (I’m starting to see a trend here). So the exercise we went with is a fun one that can, as usual, be ridden just on the flat.
This exercise is good for a horse who anticipates there work. The different & tight turns will keep your horse thinking & stop them from guessing where they are going next, therefore they have to stop and listen to you & your aids.
Loop the Loop: a simple exercise that helps you work on suppleness, flying changes and your rhythm.
Have you ever found yourself short on poles? Well for this exercise, all you need is six poles and you can get straight to work.
